Technical Questions

What types of nodes do you offer?

We offer two types of nodes: - Full Nodes: Contain the recent state of the blockchain - Archive Nodes: Contain the complete historical state of the blockchain

What is the difference between a full node and an archive node?

A full node contains only recent blockchain state and is suitable for most applications. An archive node stores the complete historical state of the blockchain, allowing you to query data from any point in history. Archive nodes also support additional methods like trace_* but have lower rate limits due to their resource intensity.

What connection methods do you support?

We support both HTTPS and WebSocket (WSS) connections for all our endpoints.

What are your rate limits?

Rate limits vary by plan: - Free Trial: 500 requests per second - Tier 1: 500 requests per second (250 for Archive nodes) - Tier 2: 500 requests per second (250 for Archive nodes) - Tier 3: 750 requests per second total - Private Node: Unlimited requests per second

Do you support WebSockets for real-time updates?

Yes, we provide WebSocket endpoints for all supported networks. WebSockets allow you to subscribe to events like new blocks, pending transactions, and contract events in real-time.

Can I use your nodes with MetaMask or other wallets?

Yes, you can add our RPC endpoints to MetaMask and most other wallets that support custom RPC providers. See our Connection Examples for instructions.
